HELLERTOWN, Pa., August 2, 2019
– Moving Foreward will host a clinic for amputee golfers on Friday, September 13, 2019, at Mountain Vista Golf Course, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Golfers of any playing level are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Instructor and pro golfer Adam Benza will lead the clinic, which will feature morning (10 am – 12 pm) and afternoon (1 pm – 3 pm) sessions. Adam, a co-founder of Moving Foreward, is a three-time Eastern Regional Amputee Champion and the 2011 Below Knee National Amputee Champion.

“Having a physical disability can be an isolating experience for many people,” Adam notes. “Golf has been shown to be therapeutic for many such folks, providing a fun social setting in which they can learn specific techniques to help them improve their golf game and boost their overall confidence too.”

For more information or to register for the clinic, contact Kim Brekke via email at kbrekke@opquorum.com or phone (970) 686-2266.

The clinic is being sponsored by Quorom Prosthetics, the Orthopedic Spine Center of the Rockies, and the Mountain Vista Golf Course. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available.
